Sex with minor wife to be considered rape, age of consent cannot be lowered below 18 years: Supreme Court - Firstpost
In a landmark judgment, the Supreme Court on Wednesday ruled that sexual intercourse with wives between 15 and 18 years of age will be considered to be rape. CNN-News18 reported that the apex court further said that the age of consent is 18 and cannot be lowered.
