The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is expected to issue a showcause notice to its Indore MLA Akash Vijayvargiya on Thursday for thrashing a Municipal Officer with a cricket bat last week. Sources told Zee News that Madhya Pradesh BJP chief Rakesh Singh has received a call from a senior party leader in Delhi on this matter. Sources added that Union Home Minister Amit Shah and senior BJP leader Ramlal have also called Rakesh Singh to hold discussions over this matter.
