No formal communication yet from govt on min balance: SBI -

After State Bank of India recently announced its move to charge a penalty on accounts below a certain minimum, the bank's senior official has said that there is no formal communication from the government to reconsider the charges. “There is no formal communication from the government yet but we hear that it is being discussed,” said Rajnish Kumar, Managing Director, National Banking, SBI, on the sidelines of a women entrepreneur convention.
