Rupee weakens against US dollar ahead of retail inflation data - Ravindra N Sonavane, Mint
The Indian rupee weakened marginally against the US dollar ahead of the key consumer price inflation (CPI) data, which will be released after 5.30pm on Monday. At 2pm, the home currency was trading at 66.96, down 0.12% from its previous close of 66.88. The local currency opened at 66.91 a dollar and touched a high and a low of 67.03 and 66.90 respectively.
