1984 anti-Sikh riots: New SIT to re-open 241 cases - Samanwaya Rautray, Economic Times
The Supreme Court said it will appoint a new special investigation team to probe 241 cases from the 1984 anti-Sikh riots which had been closed for lack of evidence.  The team will comprise a retired high court judge and two IPS officers, one serving and the other retired. Their names will be announced on Thursday.
