Restrictions in Srinagar to prevent protests - Business Standard
Authorities imposed restrictions in parts of Srinagar city on Tuesday to prevent protests as the separatists called for a valley-wide shutdown against the killing of a civilian the day before in Pulwama district. The Joint Resistance Leadership (JRL), a separatist conglomerate headed by Syed Ali Geelani, Mirwaiz Umer Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik, has called for the shutdown.
