As a photo op, the collection of opposition leaders at the Kumaraswamy government’s swearing in in Bengaluru last Wednesday, made impressive viewing. Around a dozen opposition parties were present, including erstwhile rivals and potential allies. The question in everybody’s mind is, of course, whether this congregation can effectively challenge BJP in 2019.
