Support for Kalam isolates Cong -
Pioneer
Chorus has grown in the Opposition for a “Kalam-type candidate” to prevent the Congress from fielding its own handpicked nominee in the Presidential election. Sensing that it was not in a position to dictate term to its own allies, the Government also struck a conciliatory note and talked about building a 'consensus'.

Gujarat’s development is helpful for India and if Gujarat develops the nation will also develop. I hope Narendra Modi won’t be confined to Gujarat for long and the nation will get his services.
Nitish Kumar, in December 2003 |
