Amritsar, July 2 - Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) leader Simranjit Singh Mann today said the martyr's memorial being raised near the Akal Takht was not acceptable to the Sikh community.

Mann told newsmen during his visit to the Golden Temple. Last month, Jatehedar Akal Takht Gyani Gurbachan Singh along with five Sikh head priests had laid the foundation of martyr's memorial.

The memorial is being made in the memory of those who were killed during Army operation 'Bluestar' to remove Sikh separatists from the Golden Temple. PTI
